For under €1,400, this is an awesome NV monocular. Sure it’s not the crispest and most Seal Team 6 night vision on the market, but for the ranges we play at, it more than pays for itself. The ease of focus, the size, the weight – for me – (it’s taken me 11 years to get a GEN 2+ NVG) it is perfect. Obviously if you want to make some awesome NV videos, and see everything at night as if you were playing Call of Duty by pressing UP on the D-Pad, go and get a GEN 3/white phosphor unit after selling a kidney and a testicle.

GT-14 1.0x22 Tactical Night Vision Monocular is a very compact and lightweight NV device featuring rugged design and durable body made of glass-filled polyamide. The NV monocular is suitable for tactical applications and is extremely versatile as it can be operated as a handheld device as well as be head-, helmet- and weapon-mounted. The monocular is loaded with neat features including automatic brightness control to achieve the highest image quality in varying light conditions, alow battery and IR-ON indicators, and a built-in “flip‐up” OFF switch which turns the device off when it is tilted into a vertical position. There is a built‐in short-range 805nm IR illuminator for use in extremely low light conditions. To enhance viewing capabilities, the system can be paired with a 3.0x, 4.0x or 6.6x magnifier lenses (sold separately). GT-14 runs from a single AA battery.The device is offered with a specially selected Gen 2+ green or white phosphor image intensifier tube, BE24122 or BE24122W, correspondingly, and Unfilmed Gen 3+ (BE34122).
